LETS First Annual Benefit & Silent Auction Was a HUGE Success!
Dear Friends of LETS,
LETS just held our First Annual Benefit & Silent Auction at the Coupa Café in Beverly Hills on Thursday, November 4, and what a great event! The evening included performances by a youth jazz band from Colburn School, rappers from Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Services, and awards presented to LETS high schoolers and Dr. Kita Curry of Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Services. The event was a success in both the fun we had and the funds we raised, but we still need more support to take LETS all across the country and make our first jump across the pond to London.
We thank all who attended, with a special thank-you shout-out to our sponsors:
- Platinum: Andrew Kahn, Jay Yook, Denise Fein
- Silver: Judy and Roger Benson, Chris and Masae Benson
- Bronze: Lee Milman
If you weren't able to make it to the benefit but would still like to contribute, THANKS! LETS Educational Foundation is still accepting post-benefit donations. The proceeds will be our springboard for projects and programs like grants of $1,000 to each high school club; funding for university chapters; university-to-high-school club mentorships; university research funding; high school conferences; youth symposiums; outreach opportunities for community service and education; stigma-erasing projects conceptualized and initiated by LETS youth; and building a large network of other organizations and individuals invested in mental health. Please click on "Donate Now" to share your continued support.
Thanks!
