Let’s Complete the Race against Stigma!
A LETS Riddle: Who swims 2.4 miles in a lake, bikes 112 miles in a cool helmet, runs a marathon, has no cavities, and helps other people—all in one day?
Answer: Ironman Dr. Craig Glick!
Dr. Glick, a top dentist in Los Angeles by day, just completed the Ford Arizona Ironman Triathlon on November 21st—which is a fantastic story in itself, but LET'S think bigger. Just take a close look at Dr. Glick's helmet in this photo and you'll see this word: Let's. Let's Erase the Stigma!

On this challenging race, Dr. Glick represented LETS Educational Foundation and fundraised nearly $2,000 for our cause of helping kids to erase the stigma of mental illness. He did this for us when he didn't have to. He did this because he cares. This ironman completed by choice what many would never consider beginning: he ENTERED into a long, long race; he TRAINED and trained some more; he FINISHED the race; and he HELPED others on his journey.
Dr. Glick's reach goes beyond 140.6 miles to make a positive difference in the lives of others. He's in a helping profession, he cares about his family and friends, and he's empowering the LETS kids with support instead of stigma. Just as his ironman triathlon was a very long race, LETS youth are also on a difficult race: to erase the stigma that shames and silences people with mental illness. We thank Dr. Glick for his great help, and we also must say... congratulations! Wow, what a race!
